Design & Build (Infinix Note 50X)
Infinix Note 50x has a vegan leather design with a gem cut camera module. It’s subtle but looks nice. It comes in 2 colours, grey & purple. I think this is the only one with vegan leather. And you like the design. The in-hand feel is too good. weight 196.7g, it’s not heavy. Under 200g is decent enough. There’s another specialty about it, it comes with Military Grade 810H certification. So it’s quite durable. There’s IP64 certification too, so that’s good.

ports & buttons: There are flat sides, and there’s a volume rocker on the right. Then, there’s a power button, which is a fingerprint sensor. So there’s both power on & off & FPS. There’s a speaker grill on the bottom, there’s a USB Type C port & a microphone. There’s a SIM card tray on the left & a speaker grill on the top. So upper side has stereo speakers.
Display
6.67” HD+, 120Hz fast refresh rate display. There’s an IPS display & there’s no AMOLED. If I talk about the display quality, then the viewing angles are good. Absolutely no problems. But it’s HD+, not full HD+. I think that’s the only compromise in this phone. screen-to-body ratio (85.0%), and he side & top bezels are thin.

The chin is of an average size. If looking at the viewing angles, it’s an HD+, but in multimedia, you can do full HD. Because there’s Widevine L1 support & stereo speakers, the audio quality is good. It’s an IPS display, so you keep that in mind. If I talk about the brightness, it’s a peak brightness of 672 nits. And there’s a 560 nits HBM high brightness mode.
Infinix Note 50X 5G+ Features and Specifications
This is the 1st phone that comes with Dimensity 7300 Ultimate. There are 2 variants, 6GB RAM & 8GB RAM. It’s an LPDDR4X RAM type with UFS 2.2 storage. It has a 5500 mAh battery with 45W charging. Antutu Score it’s around 630K. You can play BGMI at 60 FPS. And there are a lot of people who play on Free Fire, so you can play Free Fire on max settings. There’s memory fusion, so you can increase it from 6GB to 12GB, but that’s virtual RAM. There are 2 things about this chipset. It’s a 4NM chipset, so it’s power-efficient & stable.

around 75% stability which is very good. Even in terms of thermals, there are no problems. Let’s talk about the XOS 15 UI, which is based on Android 15. One of the biggest upgrades & it pleasantly surprised, is the XOS 15 UI. You don’t get a lot of bloatware, it’s a clean & fluid UI. infinix Note 50x It’s not like the old XOS, now it’s been designed well. The animations & transitions are good. They’ve upgraded the smart panel and game mode & it looks good. There’s a dynamic bar at the top so you can see the charging & delivery status.

AI Features
Infinix Note 50x There are AI features in 2 categories; 1 is for fun & the other is for productivity. If I talk about fun, you can generate wallpapers with the help of AI. You need an internet connection, but you can create unique AI-based wallpapers, And there’s a full access assistant. it’s AI generated portrait mode. You can take 4 photos & convert them into a graduation photo. These are all fun AI features.

productivity, there’s circle to search, writing assistant & call assistant. So if you get a call in another language, it’ll transcribe it to your language. So, there are quite a few AI features as well.
There are 2 major updates & 3 security updates. And remember, this is an under Rs 12K phone, so it’s very good. But I think they’ve done a good job with the redesign experience.
Camera
Infinix Note 50x has 50MP plus 2MP sensor. There are 3 sensors, but the 3rd one is an IR blaster, so it’s 50MP plus 2MP. front, there’s an 8MP selfie sensor. The primary sensor takes decent photos & the quality is good. videography, you can shoot from 4K@30FPS to the primary sensor. So that’s good. You can shoot from 2K@30FPS with front. There are a lot of features. There’s a vlog feature, leisure, portrait, travel, video mode, AI cam mode, portrait, and super night modes. And then you have slow motion, time lapse, dual video mode, and AIGC portrait mode.

Connectivity
It’s very strong in terms of connectivity. That’s why it’s called 5G+, it supports 15 5G bands. It supports Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4 & VoNR. So it’s absolutely strong in terms of connectivity. Sensors. It has a side mounted fingerprint sensor, face unlock, and gyroscope, all the sensors work well. It’s a small thing, but there’s active halo lighting here. So when you’re charging & getting notifications.

You can do a bypass charging for gaming. You don’t have to use the battery while gaming; you can use the charging. And there’s another thing: you can do 10W reverse wired charging. You can charge your Buds or other phones with 10W. Overall, for the price, this is a great phone. If you leave aside the display, then in terms of performance & looks, it has a decent camera system.
the best thing is the infinix Note 50x UI, which is upgraded. You get a clean & fluid experience, which is nice. And then there’s the bonus of AI’s fun & productive features.
