Unboxing (In the box)
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion: There’s no case here, documentation, a sim card tool, a USB Type C charger with 68W. So that’s good. And then a USB Type C to Type C charging cable. the in-hand feel of Motorola phones is one of the best.
Design
a vegan leather design. It has a nice & lovely in-hand feel. This is a curved, all-side curved glass. We see Quad Micro Curved phones from other brands. So it’s very less curved. There’s a 45-degree curve on the side & a 30-35 degree curve here. It looks premium. But because of the curve, the middle frame is very thin. The in-hand feel is amazing. Even if your hands are small, you’ll feel very comfortable with it.

Surprisingly, it feels very light in the hand. Even with a big 5500 mAh battery. It’s a good thing. If you compare it with the Edge 50, it’s an upgrade phone now. It used to be 5000 mAh, now it’s a 5500 mAh battery. The weight is around 177.5 g or 180 g. It’s a pocket-friendly phone. In terms of price & weight.
Ports & Buttons (Motorola Edge 60 Fusion)
The SIM card tray is at the bottom, a microphone, a USB Type C port. Then you have a speaker grill. On the right-hand side, there’s another microphone, a power on & off button, and volume rockers. There’s Dolby Atmos written on the top, a noise-cancelling microphone. On the left-hand side, there’s nothing else. It’s not 8GB+128GB; the base variant is 8GB+256 GB.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion price
So the base variant starts at 256GB. And it’s price is effective. Rs 23,999. But there’s an introductory offer of Rs 2,000 instant off. So you get this phone for under Rs 21,999. They’ve given a hybrid SIM card slot. So you get a 256GB base variant. And if you want an SD card, you can use that as well.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Build
It has a curved display, Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. There’s vegan leather at the back, it’s going to get dirty. So you’ll have to use the case & you don’t get the case in the box. This phone has IP68/IP69 dust tight and water resistant (high pressure water jets; immersible up to 1.5m for 30 min), Drop resistant up to 1.2m, MIL-STD-810H compliant, does not guarantee ruggedness or use in extreme conditions.

Motorola Edge 60 Fusion display
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has a 6.7” AMOLED display with a 120Hz fast refresh rate. It has a peak brightness of 4500 nits. It has an (HBM) High Brightness mode of 1400 nits. It has a 10-bit panel that supports 1 billion colours. And if I talk about the bezels, you can’t even see them on the sides. The chin is also very thin. It has the highest screen-to-body ratio till date. It has a 96.3% screen-to-body ratio.

The next level screen to body ratio according And it’s curved. This is the curved. Even on the top & bottom, it’s a beautiful display. If you compare it with the Edge 50 Fusion, it’s an upgrade.

This one is a very immersive display for sure. And there are no unwanted touches. There are 4 colour options: Pantone Slipstream, Pantone Amazonite, Pantone Zephyr, and Pantone Mykonos Blue. The colours on the display are Pantone validated. The skin tones are with the camera.
Specifications
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion is the first phone to be launched on the Dimensity 7400 chipset. Its AnTuTu score is around 7-10 lakhs. If we compare it to the Edge 50 Fusion, it had a 7S Gen2. Its AnTuTu score was around 6.5 lakhs. So yes, there is a slight upgrade as far as the AnTuTu score goes.

If you talk about the performance, it has a base variant of 8GB RAM or 256 GB of Storage. But it has LPDDR4X RAM type & UFS 2.2 storage type. So if it had UFS 3.1, it would’ve been better.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion battery
It has a 5500 mAh battery & 68W fast-charging. So there’s an upgrade in terms of battery & the battery will last for 1.5 days. Even with high usage. And it has a 68W charger. The actual performance. This is not a gaming phone. But you can play BGMI at 60 FPS. We also tried Genshin’s Impact. It’s locked at 30 FPS now. But with the update, it’ll increase as the chipset is powerful.

So you shouldn’t have any problem playing games. It has a 65% CPU stability score. In the previous Edge 50 Fusion, there was a lot of talk about heating up. So now there’s a vapour cooling chamber of 4500 mm2. So there’s no problem with the thermals & there’s no heat up.
OS & UI
It has a Hello UI, which is based on Android 15. You’ll get 3 years of major updates & 4 years of security updates. So there are no problems there. But the Dimensity 7400 excels in the Neural Processing Unit (NPU). It helps a lot with AI functions. And you get a lot of features of Moto AI in the UI. About the UI, it’s a very fluid & clean UI. You don’t see a lot of bloatware. So there’s absolutely no problem with it. It’s redesigned. It used to have My UX, now it has Hello UI. 3-4 features stand out.

Last year’s features like Magic Canvas, Style Sync, you can customize the look & feel of your photos. You can generate text-to-image with Magic Canvas. You can create unique wallpapers. But there are new features like Catch Me Up. You get a summary of the notifications. There’s Pay Attention, which transcribes the audio so you’ll get bullet points in different languages. There’s Remember This: you’ve taken a screenshot or a photo & you have to recall it.
There’s a journal; you can keep your notes in one place & you can catalog them. There’s Hello UI, like last year’s Smart Connect feature; there’s Family Spaces; there’s Moto Secure for data security. All the basic features in the Hello UI are there. There’s Virtual RAM, which Motorola calls RAM Boost. But there’s 12-256GB variant & 8-256GB variant. Take both, you’ll get 24GB virtual RAM. About the UI, it’s clean, but in this price segment, you get some extra AI features.
Multimedia
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has an immersive display, you can watch YouTube videos, Netflix series. good audio quality, Dolby Atmos support & stereo speakers. Multimedia is a big thumbs up! Sensors: it has an in-display fingerprint sensor & face unlock.

Connectivity
The Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has 16 5G bands with VoNR support, Dual 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 5.4, WiFi 6 & no NFC. You don’t get HDR playback support, which is interesting.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion Camera
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion has Sony’s LYT700C primary sensor. The secondary sensor is 13MP, and it’s ultrawide with a dual function & a 32MP selfie sensor. You can shoot 4K@30FPS with all the sensors, so that’s good. The actual still photos are on point in terms of colours & HDR. The colours & skin tones are good, and the details are good. With the edge cutout portrait, sometimes you’ll miss the hit & miss. But overall, it’s a much improved camera, especially in terms of processing.

Camera Features
It has quite a lot of features. Slow Motion Video, Photo Mode, Portrait, Pro Mode, Photo Booth, Scan, Night Vision Mode, Panorama, Tilt Shift Mode, Dual Capture Video Mode.
Motorola Edge 60 Fusion price
The 8GB RAM + 256GB Storage variant is priced at Rs 22,999. And it’s Rs 2000 off. So you get the 8GB+256GB variant for Rs 20,999. And the upper variant, 12GB + 512GB, is for Rs 24,999 & Rs 2000 off. So you get the 8GB variant for Rs 20,999 & the 12GB variant for Rs 22,999.
