Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+
Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ Review: There are two major changes. The previous S24 Base and S24 Plus had different chipsets from the S24 Ultra. There was a Snapdragon & an Exynos chipset. This time, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Galaxy chipset has come on top of all the chipsets. Throughout the lineup an excellent thing. Secondly, the features of the Galaxy A.I. in the S25 Ultra are going to be the same. Yes, the software is going to be the same. And 2-3 things have been upgraded if you compare it with the S24 series. It comes in 4 colours. There are 3-4 colours available online.

another big upgrade. The Base variant comes with 12GB RAM, not 8GB. And there’s no 128GB storage. It’s 256GB. So 12GB x 256GB is the Base variant. Pro, Plus, Base & Ultra. It isn’t too heavy. It’s big but it’s not heavy. Samsung Galaxy S25 of 161.7g, and it’s one of the lightest phones. and Samsung Galaxy S25+ 188g.

Design & Build (Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+)
Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ have a very good in hand feel. If I compare it with the Ultra, you get a titanium frame. This is the new Armor 2-frame aluminum device. The ports & buttons are the same. There’s no difference. It’s just compact. And you get a USB 3.2 Gen 1. So you get faster data transfer rates. If you want a compact flagship, you’ve got very few choices. And this is one of the top of them.
It feels very good in the hand. Especially for compact. If you want a big display, then you should go with the Samsung Galaxy S25+. Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with an S Pen. That’s why it’s seriously big. Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ don’t come with an S Pen, and the battery capacity is small.

It comes with Gorilla Glass Victus 2, and the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra comes with Corning Gorilla Armor 2. Victus 2 is also good. You should not have any problems. there wasn’t much difference between the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra & Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s just that the camera module’s rings are black & protruding, And they look more like folds.
Display (Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+)
the base variant, there’s a 6.2” FHD Plus 120Hz display. And this one is QHD Plus 6.7” 120Hz. Both have a peak brightness of 2600 nits. And if I talk about the bezels, both are thin. And this is a flat display. It’s a quality LTPO display. So there are no problems. It’s AMOLED & the colours look great.

Specifications
It’s an 8th Elite 4 Galaxy. And no matter how much we look at it in the benchmarks, it’s impressive. But in real-world performance, whether it’s gaming, multitasking, heavy apps, etc. There are no problems. I mean, 8th Elite is a really powerful processor. And especially the 8th Elite 4 Galaxy has made a lot of difference. If I talk about the AnTuTu score, the Samsung Galaxy S25 is around 2.3-2.4M. Samsung Galaxy S25+ has an AnTuTu score of around 2.4- 2.5M.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 has a 4900mAh battery. and a 4000mAh base with 25W charging. It has 15W wireless charging support & 4.5W reverse wireless charging support. The Samsung Galaxy S25+ it’s 45W Wired fast charging. You get 25W charging in the base variant. Both support 15W wireless charging & 4.5W reverse wireless charging. By the way, both the base variants have 12GB RAM, LPDDR5X RAM & UFS 4.0 storage.
Performance (Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+)
You can play BGMI at 90 FPS, Wuthering Waves, etc. The real-world performance & the throttle test show that it’s throttling. But when you play games, it makes a lot of difference. These got better scores than Ultra. Even for thermals, Ultra had a 40% increased vapor cooling chamber, & this has a 15% increase.
But when it comes to thermals, play heavy games continuously. But the temperature didn’t go above 44 degrees; 43.5 was the max. So, even thermals are in check. One good thing is that the battery capacity is the same as the S24. Because it’s thinner by 0.4mm. As compared to S24 & S24+. And yes, Samsung is focusing more on recycling. So, the 50% cobalt used in the base battery has been recycled.

You get 7 years of major updates on Android 15. Galaxy AI is a major part. All the features you get in Ultra are present in the base & plus. Note Assist, Chat Assist, Live Translate, Portrait Studio, Sketch to Image, everything is there. Especially the Audio Eraser. They haven’t kept it just for Ultra. You get the Audio Eraser feature on this, too. And the 2 new features that have come with the Audio Eraser, Now Bar & Now Brief, you get both of them.
Now briefly, at a glance, it learns that you need health tips, you need the weather here. Now Bar also comes, you’re playing music on Spotify, or there’s a timer, or you’ve ordered food, and its status is visible on the lock screen below in Now Bar. Ultra, Base & Plus all come with ultrasonic fingerprint sensors.
Talk about connectivity; the latest & greatest connectivity is Wi-Fi 7. There’s Bluetooth 5.4 support. There’s NFC, so absolutely no problems. All the 5G bands are there.
Multimedia (Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+)
Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ have amazing displays & video viewing. The audio quality is good, as it’s compact & small in size. So you won’t get as good as Ultra. Still, the audio is quite good. You’ll enjoy multimedia on this, no problems. There’s 1 difference between Plus & Base. The Pro Scaler that comes in Ultra for the display comes in this, too. if you’re watching Instagram videos, swiping, etc, you’ll see the details better, as it makes it clearer. You can also watch HDR10 videos on Netflix. It’s very nice.

Circle to Search has improved a lot. It identifies the URL & links in Circle To Search. 2nd thing is the cross-app integration with AI. You can talk to your phone & it carries out 2-3 different actions across apps. If you have a lot of data privacy, & you’re worried about it. With all the features of AI, you can tell that it’s an on-device & my data shouldn’t go anywhere. And there’s a toggle for it, you can toggle it on. All the processing & AI functions will be on there. And there’s Knox security as well. So, even from a security perspective, it’s quite strong.
Camera (Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+)
Samsung Galaxy S25 & S25+ have a 50MP primary sensor & a 12MP ultrawide sensor. It’s not autofocus as you get in Ultra. And then you have a 10MP 3x telephoto sensor. You can click on 3x Portrait, 2x Portrait & you get a 12MP selfie sensor. If compared to S24, the skin tones & processing algorithms with the S25 series have improved a lot. There’s a bit of color shift between the sensors. There’s a slight colour shift, but the skin tones & details have improved a lot.

Talking about the video graphics, you can shoot 8K@30FPS videos & 4K@60FPS videos. And there’s a reason: due to the ProVisual Engine, when you shoot videos in low light, the graininess is reduced a lot. The videos come out good. The features are Best Face, LED flash, auto-HDR, and panorama. You get a virtual aperture like the Ultra, so you can shoot at F2.0, F5.0, F5.6, etc. You can also shoot portrait videos at 4K@30FPS, so you don’t need a blurry back. You can also shoot 4K@30FPS portrait videos. And if I talk about the small features, there’s SAR value within limits, Widevine L1 support, there’s IP68 ( dust tight and water resistant, immersible up to 1.5m for 30 min) certification.
